Application instructions
- The application for Sketchfest 2011 is done entirely online. The first thing you should do before filling out the application is pay the application fee. You can do that via Paypal by clicking the following button. Make a note of your paypal transaction ID. You'll need it when filling out the application!
- Now that you've paid the application fee, please fill out the application form. Once you've submitted your application, you should receive a confirmation email summarizing your application. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24-hours, please email info@stage773.com and we will look into the issue.
- Once you have submitted your application, all you have to do is sit back and wait for us to get back to you. You will receive a response from us no later than November 15th. Please do not contact us before then, as we will be very busy reviewing all the applications. You will not be able to go back and edit your application after it has been submitted, so please make sure you fill it out correctly the first time. If something important has changed (your primary contact has changed), email info@stage773.com.
The Chicago SketchFest provides an opportunity for sketch comedy performers to perform in front of large, appreciative audiences at no cost to the participating groups. The producers of SketchFest pay for all costs & rent, marketing, advertising, technical staff and equipment. This gives performers a valuable opportunity to reach new audiences, hone performance skills and network with peers and industry professionals.
More than 800 artists participated in last year's festival, and over the course of 8 days of performances, so did over 10,000 audience members!
